Hi guys, it’s been a while since we released the update in February. Although we had it planned to release two updates in February, which include the new content like Winter Solstice’s hotpot, relics collection and repair, and snowball fight. We have released the winter festival part one, and the part two about snowball fight, unfortunately, we haven’t finished it in time, so we decided to release it along with some other new content in the late March.
The original development plan of My Time at Portia is to set the full release alive in this year, and launch Xbox ONE, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 meanwhile. But we’ve been told that if we want to stick to the release plan, we’ll have to finish the console version, well, at least the first console version several months ahead. So, it means we have to re-schedule our roadmap right now and expand the monthly update content. Ever since we’ve decided to speed up the develop progress, we have expanded the team as well. For now, we have more than 40 developers in the team, which also means the higher efficiency on the development.
The good news is, several features that you guys want the most, like keep and raise animals, ride animals will all be added in game in the following updates. Meanwhile, more stories are coming in May and June since we’ve recruited several writers to help.
So, what’s new in March’s update?
We’re gonna have a very important public resource, the museum! In this version, you can hand over pieces of relics to the museum after you have it repaired and get some rewards. Besides, NPCs in Portia can also dig up relics fragments in the abandoned ruins. They can do the exhibition as well or they can do some exchange business with players.
Can’t wait to show you the March update!
